Asbestos Management
We are able to carry out comprehensive building surveys, which will identify the presence of asbestos, its condition and potential for harm.
As part of our survey report we will assess the risk and make recommendations enabling the duty holder to take the appropriate course of action for each situation identified.
In addition to carrying out the initial survey, we are able to offer ongoing management support including:
- Preparing and maintaining the asbestos register/database
- Development of the management strategy including introduction of "permit to work" systems where appropriate
- Carrying out regular inspections including continuing risk assessments together with appropriate recommendations
- Project management where work is to be carried out including development of specifications, inspection of contractors, site supervision
- Ensuring all the clients' legal responsibilities are being met bt the installation of asbestos warning signs as part of the management regime
